Moonbot Studios, a multi-platform company specializing in storytelling, has recently unveiled a narrative app of “The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore,” a short film by author-illustrator William Joyce and co-director Brandon Oldenburg. The film won the San Jose’s CINEQUEST Festival’s “Best Animated Short Film Award” and Cleveland International Film Festival’s “Best Animated Short Film Award.” Available for $4.99 in iTunes, the app presents an alternative storytelling experience by blending together elements of animated films and allows the reader to animate each page with the touch of their finger.
